Another Shipment of Clothes

The St. Silas Prison Ministry is still busy collecting clothes for the men and women who leave the Baltimore City Detention Center. We also want to come up with funding so that when they leave, the people will have bus fare to get them home.

I have written a report which I have sent to our prison ministry group.

When somebody leaves the jail or prison in Baltimore City, he is sent home only with the clothes on his back and what he has in his locker.  Ms. Oliver came to us first for toys for the children of the detainees for a Christmas party a few years ago and then she told us about the guys leaving the system with no coats during the winter.  We have been collecting these items every since and we need your help.

If you want to send a monetary donation to help, please send it to me at PO Box 422, Baltimore MD 21203 and also send me an e-mail letting me know that you are sending the donation.  My e-mail for this is 'prisonministry' at 'Michael-Bishop' dot 'com'.  You can also use the e-mail address on my home page if you have problems with this one.  We thank you in advance for your help.
