Another Snow
We had several snow storms this year. On Monday 2 March 2015 I went
to City Hall to see about getting a dumpster permit. Most of
the snow on the ground was there from the previous weekend.
After getting the necessary information, I did some shopping at
Urban Outfitter near Lexington Market and then went home.
Going to this store was like returning home after a long period of
time. The employees there remembered me from when I used to
shop there almost weekly. Before my ordination I found brass
candle sticks there for $4, later $2, and then $1. I purchased
at least 20 of them and donated them to various churches. I
wish that I could had gotten a picture of Fr. Gregory's face when he
saw them at his church in Bel Air. Near the end of the Liturgy
I just pulled them out of my bag and sat them on a table.
This time I found a cutting board, three-hole punch, and microwave
covers. I immediately put to use the cutting board and paper
punch. I also purchased a pillow so that I can follow my
doctor's orders and put it under my leg when I sleep at night.
