Every month I look forward to getting together with my fellow clergy, some of whom I have known for centuries.When one priest asked me, "How are you?" I answered, "Blessed by the best!" which is a reply that I often use. So he said to me, "So you have been around a few bishops!" Another priest asked me if I have a jeweled strap for my camera. This is really an inside clergy joke based on my last name.
Fr.Sophronius from Kosova gave us a report on the dreadful situation there. I makes me even more happy and proud to be an American. I have not yet heard of anybody being arrested in America just for going to church. But I know that the time is coming.
