SE District CRC Meeting

Each district in the Baltimore Police Department has a Community Relations Council. A purpose of this council is to bridge the gap between the police and the community.

Officer Raul Rivera is our Hispanic liaison. He has been an officer 27 years and came to Baltimore in 2006.  He told us that if a vacant house becomes a nuisance, give him a call.  The police can call Housing to do an eviction.

Major Brown is a native of Baltimore.  If you don't have a probably cause, the case is dropped.

The question of the Hopkins police was raised.  They will cover everything but Bayview [which is right behind the Southeastern District].  The majority of the Hopkins police are from the Southeastern District.

We also had a presentation for the Gail Adams grant.
