Monthly Food Drop

One of the benefits for many of us who live in East Baltimore is the monthly food drop.I do not remember how I first benefited from this program.  I probably received a flyer at a meeting.

Now I receive a telephone call advising me of the next food drop. If I can, I attend.  I missed last month because I already had a commitment.  This time I received the call a few days early and this made a difference.

I do not know very much about the program.  The food is fresh food for the most part.  There are also canned food and boxed food.

Information is distributed and they often have cooking lessons.
