We citizens on Saint Mary Street in Seton Hill took matters into our own hands.
Cheryl needed to get out to go to work. She's a nurse. Her job is critical. Peoples' lives depend on it.
I do not know about my other neighbors. But that does not matter. We need food and other necessities of life. So we dug our way out of the snow.
A woman neighbor and Michael are shoveling snow in the street.
Notice how high the snow pile is compared to the car.
A view on Tessier Street.
The front of my house.
This van in the background is not going to get through. We can see a bus even further back.
We are working on opening the street at Pennsylvania Avenue.
The city did plow Pennsylvania Avenue.
Every plow that we saw had the blade up and none of them was plowing snow.
Cars can now get into our street.
This is a view towards Pennsylvania Avenue.
